Creativity is Cool

One of the strongest pros of being handy with Photoshop is that you can make your own graphics! :) I never have to download free Facebook covers or use my grainy iPhone photos, because I can easily assemble a cute one in 10 minutes and I seriously love this advantage. 

Try taking some time out of your day to use a nice background and layer some cute PNGs over it to make a cute graphic. 

I was messing around on my new Gmail this afternoon and came up with this cutesy signature as well :

As you can see I am a bit vain and also a bit in love with cats hahaha..! :)

Very true, very true. 

I think I've had one sided romances with some superheros, Pokemon gymleaders, and book characters in the past. It's kind of sad if I think about it in detail.

These days I have been more and more immersed in graphic/computer art and it's been oh-so-much fun making cute little prints. 

It's also a tummy-tickling to make cute phrases stand out. My funky brain is filled with such little thoughts so often, who not utilize them? 

This morning I was thinking how nice it'd be to marry some quirky photographer who'd wake me up with a kiss on the cheek and a camera in my face. Hahaha I'm so vain, aren't i?

anyhow, i made this ocean pic i took a little bit grayer, added this sassy pink overlay border (adds such a nice dash of color) and tried dozens of fonts + sizes before deciding. It's not perfectly perfect but it'll have to do as I only have flowerly fonts. (i really need to go download some more versatile ones! any suggestions?)

Anyhow, I'm quite proud because this picture came from my own camera and the quote came from my own brain. ^.^

November is a friend

October is officially over and now winter is about to come in the door! 

I actually do look forward to winter, it's so quiet + tranquil..and there are no bugs, haha!

Personally, November is not my favorite month (being a may baby myself), but it's so romantic i just had to make some graphics for the changing seasons. :)

The weather has been so horrible and grumpy lately, all because of Hurricane Sandy!  Where I live, all we have to deal with are some winds, some drizzling, and dropping temps, but poor New England!

I find gorgeous phone wallpapers on the phone all the time, but I've only ever used pictures I took as wallpaper. When I was scrolling through pugly pixel's amazing website, I saw these amazing macaroon pictures and thought "wow, wouldn't they make an adorable wallpaper?" So here it is! :) In the future, I might make more for free usage. Please don't steal the original one!

Who knows, this may inspire you to make your own. :)

Roses n' things

Took a picture from tumblr and sliced it up to make 6 cute icon pictures. :) Then, I took the levels and made them darker..wow, such nice result! You can use them if you want.

Sometimes, I wish I could just pause life for a few minutes to myself! I found this beautiful graphic scrolling around on pinterest, so I edited it a bit by inserting a beige background and shadows. I think this looks wonderfully retro...reminds me of old Coca Cola bottles! :)

Today, I was looking around on pugly pixel's amazing site like I always do, and found an amazing photoshop tutorial for this lovely technique! Isn't it pretty? I decided to make a graphic for my feelings at the moment, which are : cold, damp, and semi-annoyed.
